We're Jerome and Serena Townson, the creative couple behind Desrind and Sylvie. We make stories, costumes, silly little skits, music, and moments of wonder—because we think the world could use a bit more magic.
And maybe, if we do this right, you'll feel like you've known us forever.

We plan to build a physical Axe & Toadstool Inn set for our videos and adventures: a lantern-lit, lovingly detailed space designed to feel immersive even through a screen. A real set where our imaginary tavern can come to life.
New fantasy novels co-written by award-winning EVERDUSK author Jack Townson and Serena Townson, inviting readers into the adventures, mysteries, and heart of this world.

Avelium is a world where every road holds a story. Here, kingdoms rise beside ancient forests, mountains guard forgotten paths, and the people of many lands are learning to live together in the peace their ancestors fought to protect.
Its name carries a promise: “one who greets all with open arms.” Whether you are a wanderer, a maker, a warrior, or simply someone in search of wonder, there is a place for you here.
Long ago, the heavens fractured in a moment remembered as the Great Divide. From worlds lost and scattered, pioneers crossed into Avelium seeking refuge, adventure, and somewhere to belong.
The years that followed were not easy. Across generations, its many peoples faced hardship and division, yet stories remember brave alliances, the aid of dragons, and a peace won at great cost.
Today, Avelium is healing. Its old roads reopen, cultures meet once more, and the greatest adventures may still lie ahead.
